The T2J Story
The 209 Journey Podcast started back in June 2021 with a simple mission: to help people in our community share their stories and promote themselves. Inspired by the community built around my previous podcasts, I wanted to replicate that sense of connection and camaraderie, but this time with a focus on the 209 area code. Growing up as an introvert in Modesto, CA, I didn't go out of my way to meet many people. This podcast became a way for me to break out of my shell and learn more about the incredible individuals in our region.
Meet the Host
My name is Luis Urbano, and I'm the host of The 209 Journey Podcast. Born in Modesto and raised in Westley and Modesto, I've been passionate about podcasting since 2019.
Apart from The 209 Journey, I also host "State of the Republic", a podcast dedicated to Sacramento Republic FC and Central Valley soccer.

New episodes are released weekly, and sometimes even twice a week, depending on my interview schedule. I aim to bring inspiring stories to my listeners regularly.
